Antibiotics vs Phage Therapy
This 2-minute video is a brief extract from the 20-page Fellows' Report for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust by Grace Filby of the Holistic Health Alliance. It highlights an article from Poland pointing out that phage therapy of staphylococcal infections (including MRSA) may be less expensive than antibiotic treatment. Patients are accepted from Poland and abroad. Phage therapy is 'no longer a treatment of last resort when all antibiotics fail, but allows for significant savings in the costs of health care'. She meets two patients whose MRSA-infected surgical wounds have now been healed with phage therapy.
Infection Control
There are many ways of eradicating infections apart from phages, e.g. sunlight, ultraviolet, the use of heat in sterilisation, manuka honey, aromatherapy/essential oils such as tea tree, garlic/allicin, homeopathy, microwaves, ionized water, bio-resonance feedback, vitamin C, copper-based technology, colloidal silver.
Grace Filby BA(Hons) Cert Ed FRSA and her associates can provide illuminating talks to groups, organisations and individuals for enjoyment and education whilst communicating some of these key messages about how to combat infections.
